NAWAYÁ — free; not under the control or in the power of another; able to act or be done as one wishes; the freedom we find when we return to the source

In Atok where mountains are carved by hand into terraces and forests wear layers of moss, we are reminded that we are free the closer we are to the source.

On this land, agriculture is what sustains life: regenerative, rooted in reciprocity.

It feeds us and protects us, even as it withstands storms that grow stronger each year, worsened by systems that choose profit over people

And yet our communities rise

Our farmers rise

Our mountains rise

To collaborate with nature is to reclaim the power taken from us

To stand with the land is to step out of the traps of greed laid before us

Because so many still hold hope

that this could all be better

So we begin within our own power:

by asking questions

By refusing to accept what breaks us

By choosing accountability over apathy, community over corruption,

regeneration over extraction

Nawayá :

a return to freedom,

a return to the land,

a return to our own will

In our effort to slow down, mag dahan-dahan, all orders from the Nawayà catalog will be considered custom-made.

It will be a slower process, albeit one where we can guarantee a more personal approach to creating your pieces; one where we can guarantee the quality of the pieces we make for you.
